Law Firm Closes Deal for new Publix Store on Former Herald Tribune Headquarters Site

The Law Offices of George H. Mazzarantani, P.A., representing Lakeland-based Publix Super Markets, Inc., closed on the purchase of the former headquarters of the Sarasota Herald Tribune, located at U.S. 41 and Bay Street, Sarasota, Florida. 

George H. Mazzarantani, Esq. led the legal team in a complex and lengthy transaction which began in May, 2008, and included approvals from the City of Sarasota Planning Board for development of a proposed 52,000 square foot full service Publix grocery store.  The proposed structure will be elevated to allow for ground level parking under the store.
